Greg Biffle's Stats:

Born: December 23, 1969
From: Vancouver, WA
Lives: Mooresville, NC
Drives: #16 3M Ford
For: Roush Fenway Racing
Crew Chief: Greg Erwin
Best Year: 2nd 2005
Career Wins: 14

Born in 1969, Greg Biffle was considered old when he first made a splash in the Craftman's Truck Series at age 30. Growing up on the West Coast in Washington, he didn't get started racing until 1990 at 21 years of age. This meant most of his competitors had already been around the block a time or two, sometimes longer.

However, Biffle looked like a seasoned pro and it wasn't long before he was a household name, without even making it to the elite NASCAR circuit yet. Jack Rousch hired Biffle after a recommendation from 1973 Cup Series Champion Benny Parsons. It wasn't long before Biffle proved he belonged in NASCAR.

Greg Biffle won the Rookie of the Year award in the NASCAR Truck Series in 1998 and won Rousch's first NASCAR Championship of any kind when he won the Truck Series Championship in 2000. He followed that up with a NASCAR Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year Award in 2001 and a NASCAR Nationwide Series Championship in 2002.

Biffle's first race in the Sprint Cup Series came in the NAPA 500 at the Auto Club Speedway where he finished 13th.

In 2003 Biffle moved up to the Sprint Cup Series full time even though he continued to race in the Nationwide series as well. In his rookie season in the Sprint Cup Series he won his first race in the Pepsi 400 in July at Daytona. He ended his rookie year with 6 Top 10 finishes and 20th in the point standings. Not bad for the 2003 season. The 2004 season sported two more victories, but it was 2005 where he came into his own.

He won 6 races over the course of the year and threw in 21 Top 10 finishes to finish 2nd in the overall points standings behind Tony Stewart.

When he's not on the track, he loves to fish, go boating in Mexico, and help animals. Occasionally he makes cameo appearances in various movies and television shows. Biffle and his wife Nicole have built a foundation around various charity donations to many companies. In the end, people love him for his generosity, charisma, and overall friendly nature. Most likely you will as well.
